Practical support

We understand that mental health is an important aspect of overall well-being, which is why at Aura we provide practical support to help with mental well-being.

We understand the unique challenges faced by those dealing with mental health issues; we work with people to explore practical skills and provide support to help them work through daily challenges and deal with difficult life events. Some life changes can leave people unemployed and struggling financially with the practical support we assist people to make sure they are getting all the benefits that are available to them, this will help to ease the financial pressure while working on their well-being and mental health which will enable them to search for employment.

When it comes to improving mental health, learning and developing practical skills can be hugely beneficial. These skills help people to cope with challenges, manage stress, and enhance overall well-being.  At Aura, we want to help people to develop practical skills to help with mental wellbeing that people can apply in their daily life.

We know that life can be tough and overwhelming sometimes – our charity was founded to provide people with support and care when they need it most.  By offering a range of resources and assistance, we can empower people to seek help, develop coping strategies, and navigate their mental health journey with support and understanding.

Referrals and signposting

We understand that sometimes the support people need is beyond what we can provide.  We can help you to connect with external service providers and organisations to ensure you receive the appropriate care and support.

Free and accessible

We firmly believe that everyone deserves access to mental health resources and support.  We aim to make our services accessible to all. Our support services are provided free of charge.
