Counselling may also be referred to as:
The counselling we offer is person centred based, which means that the counselling is centred around you, and concentrates on your goals. We work with both experienced and trainee counsellors, all qualified to at least Diploma level. Many of the counsellors work in an integrative way, ensuring services offered meet your needs.
Our counsellors will not tell you how you should be feeling or tell you what you should be addressing but offer you a safe space where you can discuss how you feel and the circumstances that have led you to therapy.
You will not be judged or criticised, but supported to explore how you feel and to make changes to empower you and facilitate your emotional growth.
Aura is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists which mean there are strict ethical guidelines that we work within, ensuring both your safety and our counsellors.
